Dinner with Ms. And Mr. Darlin’
SCRATCH TOMATO SOUP & GRILLED CHEESE January 10th at 5:00 pm AND 6pm - EST!

We’ll do this in two parts.
We’ll start at 5:00 and will have our ingredients in the oven by 5:15! These need to bake for about 45 minutes!
The second part will start at 6pm and will ALSO only take about 15 minutes! Plan to meet me on the live twice!
Trust me…it’s amazing and worth the wait. Plus, your house is gonna smell awesome!
Grocery List:
For the tomato soup
* 12 medium tomatoes - 5 heirloom and 7 Roma or Plum
* 1/2 red bell pepper
* 1 1/2 large onion - white or yellow, your choice
* 2 BIG garlic bulbs - remember a bulb = the WHOLE guy, not just the ind. clove
* Olive oil - I’m going to use spicy, you can use regular or flavored!
* Balsamic or red wine vinegar (just a splash)
* Black Pepper
* Smoked Paprika
* Sea Salt
* If you want to bring the spppiiiicccee, grab your favorite spicy pepper!
* Your favorite spices or herbs!
* Heavy cream - about 1 cup
* Grated parm (optional but delicious!)
For the Grilled Cheese
* Great bread! I’m going to use ciabatta because I have some I need to use up (plus they’re so cute and square!) You use whatever you like most but I encourage you to indulge in a great one!
* Your favorite cheeses! We’ll use provolone, sharp cheddar, and maybe pepper jack! (We like a little something spicy in there!)
* Mayo
* Italian herbs
Equipment needed:
Cutting board (or clean counter space) Sharp knife
Cookie sheet
Foil or parchment (optional)
Blender (or immulsion blender if that’s what you have)
Strainer (optional but helpful)
Butter knife (my favorite tool

Here’s how we do things for a Dinner with the Darlin’s night!
I give you the ingredients and equipment and you have them on hand and ready to cook along with us! It’ll be fun! If you don’t want to make all 3 courses, just purchase your ingredients accordingly!
Menu:
Prima - Greens and Things Salad
Secondo - Pesto, Tomato, Feta Chicken and Pasta
Dolce - No Bake Mini Cheesecakes
Here’s what you need:
Greens and Things Salad
spring salad mix
1 large honeycrisp apple
mixed nuts (we love to get a bag or container with pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and pistachios!)
balsamic
Pesto, Tomato, Feta Chicken and Pasta
2 large chicken breasts (or 4 slim pieces)
vegetable oil
1 ¾ cup panko crumbs, Italian seasoned
2 cups cherry tomatoes
red pepper flakes, optional
6 tablespoons of pesto (divided)
3 eggs
1 lemon
1 ½ cup flour
salt
pepper
onion powder
8 oz feta
4 tbsp milk
2 cloves of garlic
olive oil
No Bake Mini Cheesecakes
Crust:
2 cup graham crackers, crushed (or Oreos or Biscoff cookies or whatever you want for a crust)
1/3 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter, melted
Filling:
1 cup heavy cream
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp vanilla, pure
1 cup frozen or fresh berries, optional
